Hi my name is Ruth. I live in Arizona. My 19 year old stepdaughter was diagnosed with the same type of cancer July 2008, after seeing numerous cancer specialist whom said the tumor was inoperable, she (Adriana) was finally referred to The Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale and is now on a waiting list for a liver transplant and I am being tested to be her live donor. Adriana has been under no treatment of any kind thru out all these months. Adriana has lost about 20 pounds in about 6-9 months. her spirits are high and is taking everything very well.

Hi Stacey,
I have just been diagnosed with HCC. 80% of my liver is cancer. I have been to MD Anderson Clinic in Houston, TX twice already. I took chemo PSIF (that's four types of chemo in one day, four days a week. Then off chemo for 17 days.
After two rounds of chemo (that's 8 days, 6 hours each day) the chemo was so grueling and a trip to Houston proved the cancer did not shrink as hoped.
So now I am to begin Nexavar pill. The pill has been prescribed a week and I don't have it yet. Something nyster about ordering. After reading your readers' remarks I am not scared to take this chemo. It sounds like more of the same agony of side effects. Thanks for listening to me. I pray that you are doing well now.

Hi there..I check on your site every so often to see how you are doing and you have not posted anything in a while...hope that you are well. I have had FHCC for over 5 years now, had a few op's, lots of chemo, but it keeps coming back. I have also been on Nexavar and all that it did was give me horrible side effects......did not help for the tumour at all.
I have just had a radium procedure called Theraspheres, which is supposed to work really well, I will only know in 2 months time if it has worked or not though.
Keep fighting, never give up!

Stacy, You having this website has given me so much relief. My 22 year old niece was just diagnosed with this disease. The way the doctors talk, it sounds imenent. Knowing that there are people out there that are survivors will help my niece and all of us who love her. I am going to forward her your website in the hopes that all of you that have this in common can be a support to eachother. Keep fighting and stay strong.

Hi Stacy,
You remain in my prayers each day. Dave and I wish all good days for you.
You and Psalm 40 have been on mind....My help and My Deliverer
I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to meand heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.
God bless you Stacy.

Hey you! I was just on myspace, and saw this website...this is my first time in here! Anyway, havn't heard from you in a while, hope things are going ok! I have had a rough couple weeks, had to head back to Nebraska for a funeral...my uncle died. Him and his wife were the ones that married us. He was only 42. Anyway, no more suffering for him, he's in a better place. My mom and sis are coming out next week, their first times! I would love for them to meet you....well, just wanted to check in with you....hope to hear from you soon. I miss hanging out with you!
